We are looking for a Junior Data Scientist who is a highly motivated self-starter. As a Junior Data Scientist at RISK IDENT, you will help pilot the improvements of our products, give core perspective to our teams, and provide business understanding to our company based on your data analysis. You will work with developers, product experts, and/or product owners to deliver actionable results.
At RISK IDENT, we fight fraudsters by analysing networks of entities, i.e. devices, transactions, and people. Starting from these networks, we expect you to come with state-of-the-art analysis and algorithms regarding time series models, state dependent models, and duration models.
You are able to manage and analyse medium-big data sets with analytical rigor using statistical methods, summarize, and translate your findings into business possibilities. You are result-focused and a clear and effective communicator, being able to discuss your usage of machine learning specifications with developers and analysts alike. Innovation and learning are the basis, so you are generally free to use the tools you see fit.
Your colleagues will have a preference for Scala, Java, Python, and R. Previous experience and/or proven interest in artificial intelligence, machine learning, data mining, predictive analysis, etc. are a plus. Ideally, you will possess a broad range of technical skills and are highly proficient in turning data discoveries into profitable products and measurable improvements for our customers.
